| About Me |
I started braiding in 1976, making gear for my own horses. Eventually, over the years of riding, training, showing, etc, my work evolved to include repairing my saddles, making gear for shows, chap making, belt making, braiding high end bosals, and,finally, building my own custom saddles to use for everyday, and showing. Marrying an AZ cowboy turned professional horsetrainer helped me as well - he is my best critic and confidant!
After spending 7 years in custom saddleshops, improving my skills, I opened my own shop in Mineral Wells, at my husband's training stable on Hwy 281, just North of MW, as "MJ Liggett Saddlery & Braiding, LLC". |
